Panchpula Waterfalls (3 km)

Panchpula Waterfalls in Dalhousie is a scenic place, which is surrounded by picturesque mountains and green valleys. It is a nice picnic spot, where you can spend some time with your family and friends and enjoy the loveliness of exotic waterfalls and refreshing streams. Some of these streams even contain medicinal properties that are helpful in healing skin diseases.

Satdhara Falls (3 km)

Satdhara Falls comes on the way while travelling to Panchpula from Dalhousie. This stunning Satdhara fall derives its name from the seven beautiful springs that flows from a height of 2036 meters. Satdhara Falls is the perfect place for people in search of some tranquillity in their hectic life. The water here is said to contain mica, which has medicinal properties to cure skin diseases. It is known as ‘Gandhak’ in the local language. The water here is clear crystal and serene. This place gives an excellent experience to the guests, who are in search of peace.

Subhash Baoli (1 km)

Subhash Baoli is located at a distance of around 1 km from Dalhousie has been named after Subhash Chandra Bose, the famous freedom fighter. In 1937, he had spent a lot of time in Dalhousie at this place. Subhash Baoli is a beautiful spot circumscribed by several and huge towering trees.

St. John Church

St. John Church is one of the oldest church in Dalhousie. It is located in Gandhi Chowk and is one of the more popular spot for those who love photography, due to its steady mix of beauty and history. Gandhi Chowk & Subhash Chowk Dalhousie

Gandhi Chowk Market is located at a convenient distance of just 15 minutes from the Central Bus Station. Bara Pather Dalhousie (4 km)

Bara Pather is a famous temple in Dalhousie that attracts a lot of visitor every day. It is located amidst the quiet and pristine surroundings of Chamba Valley and is dedicated to Bhulwani Mata. The tourists love visiting this place for its excellent views of the snow-clad Himalayas and the pleasant weather that makes the environment cool and comfortable. It is on the way to Kalatop.

Dainkund Peak (12 km)

Dainkund Peak is the highest peak in Dalhousie and famous as tourist spot where people come to experience the beautiful views and sense of calmness that this location has to offer with such a serene setting. The peak is the highest one can get on and gives 360 degree view into the depths of the beautiful valleys. At the peak you can experience the comfort of the silent breeze flowing, making you feel as if you are floating in the clouds. These breezes make a charming sound while the move through the trees.

Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary (12 km)

): Kalatop hill in Dalhousie is famous for many reasons and one such reason is the Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary, which is one of the most beautiful places in Dalhousie that draws tourists and make them fall in love with the place. This high altitude forest area is located at an average elevation of 2,500 meters above sea level and offers stunning views of thick pine, deodar, and oak forests. The Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary or the Khajjiar Wildlife Sanctuary lies along the river Ravi and has a rich forest cover. It has a wide variety of animal species like bear, leopard, jackal, and langur and bird species like Eurasian Jay, Black Headed Jay and the Black Bird.

Khajjiar Lake (22 km)

The Khajjiar lake is a paradise which makes one realize that there is no place like it in the whole world. On a clear and sunny day, tourist can enjoy the amazing view of Mount Kailash from the Khajjiar Lake. It is also known as Mini Switzerland of India. The main attraction of the Khajjiar lake is the floating island which is actually a cluster of grass and weed growing on the surface of the lake. The lake is a popular tourist spot of Khajjiar where people can enjoy numerous recreational activities or can enjoy the beauty of the landscape. Khajjiar is surrounded by saucer shaped meadows beyond the pasture land there is a dense pine forest surrounded by high mountains and fringed by gigantic deodars.

Chamera Lake (25 km)

Chamera Lake is actually a reservoir formed by the Chamera Dam, which is positioned at an altitude of 1700 meters. Chamera Lake is surrounded by beautiful green trees and exquisite valleys. It gives way to various water sports activities such as boat riding and fishing.

Chamba (60 km)

Chamba, the valley of milk and honey is known for its streams, meadows, temples, paintings, rumal (handkerchief ) and lakes. Chamba is situated at an altitude of 926 metres and spreads in the area of 24 km. There are three well defined ranges in the district Chamba – The Dhauladhar range, the Pangi or Pir Panjal range and Zanskar range, located on the banks of the Ravi River. Chamba’s temples are mostly dedicated to Lord Shiva and Vishnu and are built of richy engraved stone. The town is also the base for Gaddi shepherds who, though nomadic in their way of life, return to Chamba periodically to stock supplies. The places to visit in Chamba are Bhuri Singh Museum, Chamab Chaugan, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Chamunda Devi Temple, Sui Mata Temple, Bharmaur Chaurasi Temples.
