Rohtang Pass easily stands out as one of the most popular scenic spots to visit in Manali. Connecting the Lahaul and Kullu valleys, the Rohtang Pass is famous among nature lovers, photographers and adventure seekers alike. Mountain biking or skiing whilst surrounded by the awe-inspiring glaciers and snow-capped peaks on all sides is an exhilarating experience.

Hadimaba Temple (1 km)

Built in 1553, it is famous for its exquisitely carved doorway

Manu Temple (2 km)

This is dedicated to the sage Manu situated at old Manali.

In a picturesque setting this has good ski slopes and picnic spots.

Rohtang Pass (51 km)

Rohtang Pass is the ultimate and almost essential attraction of the itinerary. Rohtang Pass can be reached only by road. The pass is located at a massive height of 3978 metres. Rohtang pass is an experience of nature in one of its rawest forms possible, amongst mountain peaks covered with snow, breathtaking view and magnificent and sprawling landscapes and views. Note that the visit to Rohtang Pass for tourism purpose is depend on permits issued by National Green Tribunal (NGT) on daily quota basis. Only 800 Petrol and 400 Diesel vehicles are allowed to visit Rohtang Pass in one day.

After breakfast it is time for some adventures! Depending on the traffic flow, Rohtang Pass permit, weather and road conditions we will take you to any one of the following places: Option 1: Rohtang Pass upto Snow Line (Snow Line is a barrier point placed by the government to avoid life risks during heavy Snowfall) This spot is famous for adventurous roads and having traces of snow even in heated up summers. However, with increase in global warming few months can be devoid of snow yet the panoramic views that it offers are worth watching. On the way to Rohtang Pass, places to cover will be Kothi, Gorge, Gulaba, Marhi. Rohtang pass is closed on every Tuesday and during snowfall months/days. NGT (National Green Tribunal) has also limited the number of vehicles visiting Rohtang pass in a day. Thus, this sightseeing will be subject to permit obtained on the spot and extra cost (Permit + Vehicle charges). Summers offer enchanting greenery all around whereas the winters are blessed with amazing snowfalls. While visiting Solang Valley one should also try their hands on adventure activities as it is one of best place for adventures near Manali. Option 3: Any enroute place where our other guests are taking a halt, having fun in snow glaciers and enjoying plenty of adventure activities. Kullu Valley

Kullu Valley is a broad open valley in Himachal Pradesh, formed by the Beas River between Manali and Largi. This valley is famous for its temples, beauty and its majestic hills covered with pine and deodar forest and sprawling apple orchards.

Manikaran

Manikaran is located in the Parvati Valley on river Parvati in Kullu. It is at an altitude of 1760 m and is located 35 km from Kullu. This small town attracts tourists visiting Manali and Kullu to its hot springs and pilgrim centres.
